Bones are for chewing. I wouldn’t be comfortable feeding any kind of a bone that a puppy can gulp without chewing.
You should not ever feed any dog a bone that has been cooked. The splintering of the bone could seriously harm them. If it’s raw and your dog is used to raw food, then it’s ok.
Is it INE SHE CANT JUST SWALLOW. ALSO NEVER EVER GIVE THEM COOKED BONES as it can splinker there teeth.
love bulldogds ahve a staffi gd luck
Don’t do that
no, the dog might choke.
Yes. Puppies are not (or should not) be delicate. If your puppie is delicate then you are a bad parent.
If she gulps instead of chewing, I would not risk it.
Make sure it’s not to small, otherwise it make choke. Raw only.
With puppies that gulp, I start them off with raw chicken or turkey necks. Then I advance to raw chicken or turkey wings. Then they are allowed raw bones from beef & lamb, etc. Don’t give them cooked bones because the mollecular structure of the bone will have been altered in cooking and possibly splinter.
As long as it is too big for her to swallow whole, and is raw then yes, a lamb bone would be great. Lucky dog.
Never give a pup/dog a cooked bone of any sort. Cooking makes bones brittle and could choke them.
to answer you question , YES you can
but dont .
puppy’s haven’t got the teeth to chew bones of any size
so i would avoid it .
also ive found bones give, dog the runs, and been a puppy , this could lead to other things, dehydration, sickness etc
feed you dog meat . till it can handle the bones.
as for cooked bones ive never found any wrong with them
more uncooked one , really depends on you own dog ,
my Dane nearly eats the bone in one go, but my other gsd chew it …..
Can you do it, yes. Should you do it? I’d say no.
