When she poops on a wee-wee pad when we are not home she eats it,all of it, and then vomits. When she poops when we are home she attempts to eat it then too.

I believe this is called coprophagia. Your vet can prescribe a powder or liquid to put on her food that will put a stop to it.

If you only have one dog,I would scoop it as she does it.I would never put anything “extra” in my dogs food…too many allergic reactions to things nowadays…

1. you could.. Add a small amount of pineapple to your dogs meal. Some dogs don’t like the taste of pineapple, but many dogs like the fruit’s sweetness. When the fruit passes through the dog’s intestines it alter the taste, so the dog will not like the taste of **** with pineapple. Hopefully after sniffing this a few times, your dog or puppy will avoid **** all-together!

2. you could… Be sure to pick up the area in which your dog poops frequently. In many cases, this is the family backyard. Clean up the area multiple times per week. If the **** is out of site, the **** will be out of mind!

hope this helped!!

ps- If feeding pineapple to your dog, only administer in small amounts as it can be acidic.

You need to crate train your dog so she won’t **** while you’re gone, then you can control what she eats.

This website can help:…

CRATE TRAINING
Crate training is very essential to housebreaking a dog.
For your and your dog’s future happiness, you need to crate train the dog, This will allow him to self train his bladder and bowels, to hold for more extended times if and when you can’t be there or can’t walk him
By instinct a dog doesn’t like to soil it’s bedding (den) area, so instinctively it will self train to wait longer and longer periods of time before it potties, just to prevent soiling. This helps the dog learn to get through the night without pottying, and allows you some freedom if you need to be gone or are at work/school.
Put a blanket, or cushion in the crate for the dog to lay on. Simply walk your pup before you put it in the crate(Cage) and slowly over a few weeks or months extend the lengths of time you leave it in the crate. Walk it immediately upon release and offer treats for a job well done. Eventually the pup can stay all night without needing to potty, and it causes the dog no pain or discomfort because it is training itself to wait.
It’s quite simple if you are patient, and realize it won’t learn control overnight.

It’s me or the dog lady said add pineapple to their food. This will make the odor unpleasant. Even further though you need to clean it as soon as your dog poops, this will put a complete end to this common disorder. (This all from It’s me or the dog)

If you are not kenneling her I suggest you do.

Letting her run free does not with controlling this.

Keep the ***** cleaned up.

When you catch her defecating, pour some the hottest hot sauce on it.

Good chance that will work.

Throw out the wee wee pads! A dog is suppose to be trained to go potty outside, not in your home. The only thing that you are doing is allowing the dog to go inside, which is a terrible habit to break. Do you want this pup to defecate in your house for the rest of its life? Put the pup in a crate (size appropriate) when you’re not home and take it outdoors the minute you come home. If the dog still eats **** when outdoors, pick it up before she gets a chance to eat it. Bad habits are very hard to break, so you better get serious about her training NOW!

My Dachshund Chloe did this and it completely grossed me out!!

So i got some advice to put meat tenderizer on her food. Its a heck of alot cheaper than the powder crap the vet tries to sell you and its flavorless (unlike pineapple) so she will eat it.

When you see her do it be sure to tell her “No!” and move her away from the stool and clean it up.

Hi, I know this is a disgusting habit that may dogs & cats have. Medicine will work. If you want a home remedy, here it is. Pineapple. Put it into her food. It makes a very foul taste & smell to the dog. It works! Kathy
