Is it a nice jack russell? because that is important
usually if the Jack is an only child for a while they won’t like any other dogs. But yours may be different. check with the local vets and any local kennels can probably answer the question best.
I have a female JR, Maggie.. I bought her a Schnauzer, Gus and she loves him.. They are truly best friends. Remember the JR will usually be the dominate dog..

i have a male jack russel and a large female black lab that get along great.
there is no way to tell for sure…every dogs temperament/personality is different, it doesn’t matter what breed they are.
